    Bizau - Schönenbach - Osterguntenalpe - Stogger Sattel - Au - bicyle route - Schnepfau - Schnepfegg - Bizau

    This tour takes you through various different landscapes and, thanks to the moderate ascents, is also suitable for beginners. From Bizau, you take the asphalted toll road through woodland just before the mountain pasture settlement of Schönenbach. Tip: it is worth taking a detour to the lovely mountain pasture settlement of Schönenbach (approx. 1 km). You now branch off to the right onto an agricultural path and constantly cycle upwards to the Stogger Sattel. From here, you can enjoy a lovely view across the mountains of the Hinterwald. This is then followed by a steep descent on the alpine path and then a leisurely descent into the valley on a narrow asphalt road past mountain pastures. From Au, take the cycle path along the Bregenzerache to Schnepfau. After an arduous ascent 1.5 km long, you arrive at Schnepfegg. From there, you take the quiet mountain road to Bizau.

  • Wegbeschreibung

    Von Bizau aus fährt man auf der asphaltierten Mautstraße durch Waldgebiet Richtung Schönenbach (Tipp: Abstecher indie idyllisch gelegene Vorsäßsiedlung Schönenbach!). Beim Hänslervorsäß zweigt rechts ein Güterweg ab, der hinauf zum Stogger Sattel führt. Von hier hat man einen schönen Blick über die Berge des Hinteren Bregenzerwaldes. Es folgt eine anfangs steile Abfahrt auf dem Alpweg, dann eine angenehme Talfahrtauf einer schmalen Asphaltstraße nach Au. Auf dem Radweg entlang der Bregenzerach gelangt man nach Schnepfau. Nacheinem 1,5 km langen Schlussanstieg erreicht man den Ortsteil Schnepfegg und gelangt von dort zurück nach Bizau.
