  • The mini jungle on Lake Constance. The most biodiverse nature reserve in Vorarlberg is to be found there where the Rhine flows into Lake Constance. The Rhine delta, with its peninsulas, bays and marshlands, is not only a refuge for birds and plants – it is also a uniquely beautiful and exciting wilderness.

    Ruth Swoboda, Manager of inatura Erlebnis Naturschau: "The Rheinholz is my favourite place in the Rhine delta, because the moment the forest opens up to reveal the lake is always something special – from the darkness of the forest to the blazing sunlight sparkling on the water. Even on a rainy day the alluvial forest is a great day out. The wetness and the mist that sometimes rises make it into an almost mystical place."

  • Wegbeschreibung

    At the point of departure at Rohrspitz there are sufficient parking spaces, some of which at a fee. You stroll on the dam in the direction of Gaissau to Rheinspitz. There, the trail leads through the wetland forests, also called Rheinholz. At the end of the Rheinspitz you will find opportunities for swimming and barbecuing. Return along the shores of Lake Constance back to the start.
