  • The Braunarlspitze is the highest mountain in the Bregenzerwald.

    An agricultural path leads from Schröcken to the Fellealpe. This is the start of the mountain hiking path to the Fürggele, a pass to the Große Walsertal. From here, the alpine trail (which demands that hikers be sure-footed and not afraid of heights) takes you through the rocky part up to the peak, continues to the idyllic Butzensee and, via the Jägersteig, back to the Fellelalpe. From here, you take the same path back to Schröcken.
