  • Easy hike on well-maintained supply roads (except for Hengstig) from Silgratsgfäll to the mid-alpine pasture area of Schönenbach.

    Your first destination is the Krähenbergalpen area. From there, you continue through a gorge cut into the landscape by the Subersach brook. Having crossed the brook, you reach Schönenbach, a mid-alpine pasture settlement with lots of huts nestling in a gorgeous mountain setting. To return, follow the path across Hengstigrücken and Auenalpen to Krähenberg.

    This hike is also suited for families with children.

    This hike towards the Schönenbach mid-alpine pasture area starts out the Krähenberg car park below the centre of the village of Sibratsgfäll. Having mounted as far as Bilgeri’s Krähenbergalpe you reach the Krähenbergalpen area. From there, you continue through a gorge cut into the landscape by the Subersach brook. Having crossed the brook, you reach Schönenbach, a mid-alpine pasture settlement with lots of huts nestling in a gorgeous mountain setting. To return, follow the path across Hengstig and Auenalpen to Krähenberg.
