  • Relax again on the ascent with the Steffisalp-Express before you go. Now you have left most of the altitude meters behind and can walk at your own pace towards the Hochalp hut. Enjoy a little refreshment here and take a deep breath before heading downhill towards the Jägeralpe. You will now pass the path at the Holzbodenalpe, where you will see the cows grazing in the summer. Now, on the old salt road, you pass the plot Wolfegg, back to the valley station Steffisalp-Express.
