  • Alpine experience for young and old at the managed Alpe Rona on the Tschengla plateau in Bürserberg.

    Alpe Rona is located on the sunny high plateau Tschengla at 1,250 m in Bürserberg. This easy, short hike takes you from the Tschengla hiking parking lot to Alpe Rona in about 15 minutes. At the Alpe Rona there is a show dairy – here you can look over the shoulder of the dairyman during the alpine season (beginning of June – beginning of September) daily from 08.00 o’clock at the cheese production. The managed alpine pasture also invites you to stop for a break and offers fresh alpine products for sale.

    The high plateau Tschengla is also the starting point for numerous hikes and mountain bike tours. A barbecue and playground as well as a pub are located very close to the Alpe Rona.

    The high plateau Tschengla has a unique alpine flora - here you can admire numerous orchid species.
